TransgenderDate is a leading dating site for the transgender community and claims to be the first real dating site for trans people. It provides a secure and fun environment for people in the trans community. This site is open to all genders and sexualities, even straight people. It serves as a sort of LGBTQIA+ hub where everyone can be represented and understood.
The platform may be over 10 years old, but it continues to be a popular space for individuals to connect, mingle, and share experiences, ideas, and advice. It’s also a great space for trans people to be themselves and interact with like-minded individuals, whether they want to find friends, a romantic partner, or simply a supportive community.

Creating A Profile
Registration is easy and takes just a minute. Go to the homepage and select your gender and what kind of person you’re looking for. The selection list is varied and includes cis man/women, male-to-female, female-to-male, androgynous, crossdresser, non-binary, and intersex male/female.
Then, create a username, put in an email address and zip code, and that’s it. There’s no email verification, but you need to verify your account before you can fully access the site. This process can take up to 24 hours and is very specific. Users need to take a photo of themselves holding up a paper that has their unique authentication code on it. This code shows up when they’re initially creating their account. This verification photo is for the administrative team’s use only and won’t be saved to the member’s profile. Without a verified account, you can’t access the forums or chat rooms. This explains why 90% of TransgenderDate’s members are verified.
You can spice up your profile by adding photos and embedding music that plays upon visiting your page. You can also answer personality/preference questions generated by the site. Your answers will show up on your profile so visitors can learn more about you before reaching out.
If you want an in-depth profile, you can add more details, such as your birthday, relationship status, religion, body art, lifestyle habits, languages you speak, sexual kinks and preferences, education and income level, occupating, interests, turn-ons/offs, and favorite books and movies. You can upload up to 500 photos, although they’ll need to be approved by site moderators.
Using the Site
TransgenderDate has plenty of ways for members to interact with the larger community, as well as to engage in one-on-one conversations. First of all, the site is free for verified members, which is a huge plus. By photo-verifying your account, you can access chat rooms, blogs, forums, and more.
The taskbar at the top of the screen, as well as the user menu on the left-hand side, shows you all of the actions you can take. There are chat rooms where you can talk with other users in real-time. There is also an email message system and instant messenger to make one-on-one contact easy.
You’ll also notice that members can create their unique blogs. They can also read other people’s blogs and comment on them. Your blog is right there on your profile, you just have to start typing to share your thoughts with the community. Just keep in mind that members need to have a profile picture to be able to comment on other people’s blogs.
There are also many forums that you can explore and interact in. These include all kinds of topics, such as dating a trans person, spotting scams, staying safe, date night ideas, and much more. Members will appreciate that all of the services on TransgenderDate are free to use, even the messaging features. Speaking of which, you can attach images to the email messages that you send, which is another nice touch.
Finding A Match
You can search for other users by clicking the “Quick Matches” button on the left-hand menu. Alternatively, you can go to the “Search” tab on the taskbar and choose one of the options from the drop-down menu. A quick search allows you to look for people based on gender identity, age range, location, and distance from you. You can also modify your search to only include members with a profile photo or who are verified.
When you visit someone’s profile, you’ll see their photo and status on the left-hand side. It will show their username as well as if they’re verified and/or a VIP member. You can see when they were last on the site and when they joined. Beneath that is a pink button that says “Break the ice!” Click this to send one of a dozen cute emojis. These range from a winking face to a rose to a simple hug or wave to say hi.
The center of the page will include a text box that you can use to send a message to the other person. Beneath the text box are several buttons that you can use to add them to your favorites list, send them a friend request, block them, or report them.
Underneath that is the bulk of the profile. There are different tabs that you can explore: Info, About Me, seeking, My Photos, Friends, Blog, My Questions, and Q&A. The info tab contains their age, sexual orientation, gender, and who they’re looking for. You can also see their location, relationship status, birthday, and physical traits (hair/eye color, height, body type, ethnicity).
At the bottom of their page, you can leave a comment. Otherwise, you can check out the other tabs on their profile. Scan through their photos, read their blog, and get to know them a bit more. If you like what you see, you can make contact.
The site’s web design is a bit boring, with small fonts and plain white backgrounds. That said, everything is organized, which makes for good user experience. The color scheme is also a nice touch, as it uses colors from the trans flag: pink, white, and light blue.
Speaking of organization, there is a taskbar at the top of the page that you can always turn to. It has categories for Mail, Search, Profile, Friends, Blogs, Chat, and Forums. To the right-hand side, there is a Help and Logout button. Above that are a Messages tab and another button showing how many members are currently online.
Moreover, there aren’t any ads cluttering up the interface. This is rare! That said, businesses and entrepreneurs can work with TransgenderDate and pay to display advertisements for their services.
One downside is that members can’t log into the site via Facebook, although the business is on Twitter and Facebook. Also, there is no mobile app. At least the site is mobile-optimized, so you can visit it on your phone. That way, you can view profiles and leave comments while on the go.
TransgenderDate has a customer service hotline at 1-702-625-7670. The physical address is iSky, LLC 6130 West Flamingo Rd, #101, Las Vegas, Nevada 89103. The help email is email@example.com.
TransgenderDate is open to trans people (and the greater LGBTQIA+ community) in all stages of their journey. This may include pre or post-op, those in the middle of transitioning, those who are fully transitioned, and those just starting to explore their gender identity. Not only that, but the site is open to cis folks as well. There truly is a feeling of unity and inclusivity here. This is not only where you can find a date or romantic partner; it’s also a place you can go to vent, ask questions, find resources, and get curious, all without judgment or backlash.
Dating as a trans person can be terrifying and dangerous. While lots of “fringe” dating sites are more concerned with finding quick sex or a one-night stand, TransgenderDate is more focused on building connections and providing a safe online space for people. That’s why their verification and approval process is more intense than other dating platforms.
There’s also very little worry about getting scammed on this site. Since the vast majority of the profiles are verified and the services are free, you aren’t likely to be conned out of hundreds of dollars. That said, it’s still imperative that members practice online safety and ensure that the person they’re chatting with is really who they say they are.
The verification process and photo approval are great ways to eliminate bullies and trolls. Also, members can password-protect their photos or choose to share them only with friends.
TransgenderDate has terms of service and privacy policies that outlines the code of conduct for users. For instance, photos can’t include minors and nudity is only acceptable for private pictures. Blog and forum posts must be respectful, and members aren’t allowed to put their email address or phone number in their profile info. The administrative team bans anyone who uses their profile to solicit escorts and adult services.
TransgenderDate is a ”freemium” service, which means it is virtually free of charge. That said, there are premium memberships available. This will boost your chances of finding a match since paid members get their profile highlighted and recommended to more users.
Even so, if you choose to use the site for free (as most do), you can still access all of the features. This includes chat rooms, forums, blogs, emails, instant messenger, friend requests, read receipts, and the ability to view photos.
Those who want to upgrade their membership can choose between a one-week plan, a 30-day plan, or a yearly subscription. One week costs just $4.95 while 30 days is $14.95. The yearly upgraded membership is $79.95. Customers can pay by credit card or PayPal, and the payment shows up at iSky LLC.
Is TransgenderDate free?
Yes. Members can use all of the features and services on TrangenderDate free of charge. The membership upgrade is for people who want to boost their profile views and be featured in more search results.

How do I report someone?
Go to that person’s profile page. Scroll past their bio and look for the “Report User” button under the message box. Alternatively, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org to report a member.
How do I block someone?

Why do I have to verify my profile?
The administrative team asks members to verify their profiles so that they can ensure a safe community for others. By verifying your profile, you are proving that you are using the site as it’s meant to be used, not for ill intent.
Is there a TransgenderDate app?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a mobile app for TransgenderDate. That said, the website is mobile-optimized, so it should work on your phone.
